With a desire to further her education, Dr. Johnson returned to graduate school at the University of Houston, completing her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology in 2007. During her graduate program, Dr. Johnson had the opportunity to work in the Houston Independent School District and Texas Children’s Hospital Learning Support Center’s program for AD/HD and disruptive behavior disorders. In addition, she completed a one-year internship and two-years of post-doctoral work in the Psychological Services department of Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. She has extensive experience working with students in the school environment who have a diagnosis of AD/HD, Autistic Disorder, Asperger’s Disorder and/or students identified with an emotional disturbance.
