Brynne Angelle is originally from the Lafayette area and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette earning her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology prior to pursuing her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. Mrs. Angelle has diverse experience in the treatment of clients. She previously worked as a Therapeutic Childcare Specialist at an inpatient group home for youth ages 4-13. These children had been removed from their homes due to physical, emotional, and sexual abuse experiencing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, learning disorders, and other life stressors.

Mrs. Angelle lived in Colorado for 2 years working with individuals aged 17 and older with substance use, suicidal ideations, and suicide attempts. In 2012, she returned to Louisiana and provided counseling services with Hearts of Hope to individuals who survived sexual trauma. Following these services, Mrs. Angelle specialized in Multisystemic Therapy (MST) with Phoenix Family Life Centers. She provided an array of services such as parenting, co-parenting, behavior interventions, and coordination of client care with other agencies and professionals such as school staff, Office of Juvenile Justice, Drug Court, mental health services, medical health services, DCFS, and other community resources.

Mrs. Angelle joined Aucoin & Associates in 2014. Her clinical experience and areas of interest include working with adolescents and adults with social, emotional, interpersonal, and behavioral difficulties as well as parenting concerns. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, and client-centered. She has an increased focus on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills and Cognitive Behavior Therapy skills to guide clients who struggle to control their emotions and behaviors.
