A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mary G. Quoyeser received a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal and Public Communication with a minor in Psychology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (currently University of Louisiana at Lafayette) before pursuing a master’s degree in School Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Mrs. Quoyeser completed a one-year internship in the North Sacramento Public School System in Sacramento, California as part of her graduate requirements. She then practiced as a school psychologist in the North Sacramento school district and more recently worked in the School-Based Therapy, Assessment and Referral Services (STARS) program in the Lafayette Parish School System.
Mrs. Quoyeser specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional and/or academic concerns. She provides psychological evaluations to determine relevant diagnoses and assists in the development of treatment plans. Ms. Quoyeser’s current focus is to provide psychological evaluations for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and behavior modification plans.
